75 gr of butter150 gr of flower3 eggs100 gr of grated beauforta pinch of cumin seeds
a pinch of cumin


  • Put on heat 12.5cl of water with the butter sliced in pieces and one salt pinch.
  • Turn off the heat when it boils. Remove from heat and add flour all at once. Mix well and return to the heat, stirring with a wooden spoon for about 3 minutes to dry the dough.
  • Let it cool down, add the eggs one by one, mixing well between each one. Add the beaufort cheese and mix well. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Form balls the size of a tablespoon and place them on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Sprinkle half of the gougères with cumin and the other half with sesame seeds.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, without opening the oven door. Take the gougères out and let them cool on the baking sheet.
  • Serve warm.
